| Jose Mourinho has voiced his concerns as his multi-million-pound forward line again failed to fire, leaving them in third behind leaders Valencia and arch rivals Barcelona.
Madrid might have won their previous four games but so far the Special One has failed to deliver the free-flowing football his new public expects and Cristiano Ronaldo, Gonzalo Higuain, Mesut Ozil and co have only mustered six goals between them.
So what is the problem? Well, Mark Bolton will be joined by Guillem Balague and former Sporting Gijon and Mallorca defender Marcelino to run the rule over Real and their new coach.
And who better to tell us how things are going than midfielder Xabi Alonso, who will lift the lid on life in the capital as we catch up for him for the first time this season.
To make matters worse for the Madridistas, they saw Barcelona back to their breath-taking best at the weekend as they blitzed Athletic Bilbao to stay second - without Lionel Messi.
They will feature in our usual look back at all the weekend's action and talking points, as will leaders Valencia, who warmed up for Manchester United in the Champions League with a win at Gijon.
We will also take a closer look on the biggest managerial casualty of the season so far as Sevilla ended Antonio Alvarez's brief reign after Sunday's defeat at Hercules.
They have moved quickly to appoint former Mallorca boss Gregorio Manzano, but what will he bring to the Sanchez Pizjuan? Guillem and Marcelino will mark your card.
Manzano's first La Liga game in charge will be against Atletico Madrid and Revista is also offering you the chance to win a shirt signed by none other than star striker Sergio Aguero in our weekly competition, La Inquisicion. | |
